Shifting: Outer Earth, Inner Air

Outer Earth... is comprised of two hand-made sound-producing oscillator circuits that are each wired to a pair of found, rusted scrap metal objects that act as antennae. The circuits and the metal forms rest on light-box pedestals. Inside the two pedestals that hold the metal forms are speakers that correspond to their circuit. When viewers touch a pair of metal objects, they effect the sounds. The interference and capacitance of the human body is interjected into the noise of the circuit. While untouched, the circuits emit pitched drones of static. When touched, they fluctuate and shift in pitch and timbre.
